Have it as a Gaming HDD ( and its double the throughput speed of my EVO 860 1TB main drive )

IF you purchase one of these you will need the driver to match the firmware. THIS driver ( The oldest ) worked for me. Could not seem to upgrade firmware. I also have a older motherboard. FOLLOW the directions at the bottom and create the FIRMWARE FOLDER ( It does not do that for some reason ) and copy the .fff file from the files you downloaded and manually install it via the HP IO Accelerator APP you downloaded with the firmware.
