Upgraded from a 970 Evo Plus and the performance difference is so drastic. Love this thing.

980 pro not much faster than 970 pro but sequiential mixed io read is much better

Probably the best speed on the market for an NVME ssd right now, but is missing "pro" features that consumers desire on Samsung's "pro" series. It is also priced exorbitantly. Probably avoid and just get a slightly slower but half the price ssd.
