Great NVMe choice, best value for the dollar. Performs very close to the Samsung 950 PRO (512GB) on Z97 MB with i7-4790K/i5-4690K installed. I agree, the results are a bit inconsistent, as well as runs warmer, yet given I paid over $300 for the Samsung 950 PRO & $115 for the 240GB BPX, it's the winner. Of course, the Samsung 960/970 EVO/PRO overtakes the BPX, yet MyDigitalSSD now has a BPX PRO released today (2018), based on NVMe 1.3. Benches are in line with the newer Samsungs & runs cooler. Anyway, picked up my 3rd 240GB BPX for kicks at $69.99, over a year ago, paid $114.99 each for two of the same. The newer BPX PRO will have my name on the 480GB version (actually 512GB pre-overprovisioned) as soon as I see positive reviews. Over 3.4Gb/sec reads & 2.8Gb/sec writes are insane fast & cheap at $124.99, TBW of the warranty has increased & still 5 years. Still, have no regrets over the MyDigital BPX SSD, it put the brand on the map, using the same controllers ar the Patriot Hellfire & Corsair MP500 for less cash. They have small offices, drive regular cars & pass the savings onto the customers, a great example of what an American corporation should be!

 Frequently Asked Questions

 Best User Rated

Why does UserBenchmark have a bad reputation on reddit?
Marketers operate thousands of reddit accounts. Our benchmarks expose their spiel so they attack our reputation.
Why don’t PC brands endorse UserBenchmark?
Brands make boatloads on flagships like the 4090 and 14900KS. We help users get similar real-world performance for less money.
Why don’t youtubers promote UserBenchmark?
We don't pay youtubers, so they don't praise us. Moreover, our data obstructs youtubers who promote overpriced or inferior products.
Why does UserBenchmark have negative trustpilot reviews?
The 200+ trustpilot reviews are mostly written by virgin marketing accounts. Real users don't give a monkey's about big brands.
Why is UserBenchmark the gold standard for users?
Instead of pursuing brands for sponsorship, we've spent 13 years publishing real-world data for users.
