I bought this last Christmas (2018) for $105 brand new. Only a few months later and the price dropped over $30. I've never had any problems with the SSD, but if you have an M.2 slot on your motherboard, well the SATA SSD becomes primitive. M.2 SSD's are relatively the same price as SATA SSD's now and days.

SATA 6 Gb/s SSDs like this are still fantastically priced for the near unnecessary performance you can get out of this for almost all use cases.

average, it works better than my brain

This was way better than the SSD that ASUS originally put in my laptop. Also, a great buy when I got it.
