The Corsair Force 3 is one of the slowest SSD's we have seen to date. Its real world speed rating of 305.7 MB/s puts it just above the bottom of the pack. Looking at its server orientated performance just makes matters worse, due to its now dated Sandforce controller which is known to deliver relatively poor incompressible transfer speeds, the Force 3 has the lowest AS-SSD total score (593) we have seen to date. This drive is out-dated and best avoided as a new purchase. Of course as with all the SSD's in the group test, it will still trounce any mechanical hard drive and is not a bad performer in absolute terms. [Feb '13SSDrivePro]
