Average Bench: 51.7% (825th of 1018)

Based on 3,944 user benchmarks.  Models: Corsair Force 3 SSD, Corsair Force 3

The Corsair Force 3 is one of the slowest SSD's we have seen to date. Its real world speed rating of 305.7 MB/s puts it just above the bottom of the pack. Looking at its server orientated performance just makes matters worse, due to its now dated Sandforce controller which is known to deliver relatively poor incompressible transfer speeds, the Force 3 has the lowest AS-SSD total score (593) we have seen to date. This drive is out-dated and best avoided as a new purchase. Of course as with all the SSD's in the group test, it will still trounce any mechanical hard drive and is not a bad performer in absolute terms. [Feb '13 SSDrivePro]

Average average bench

The Corsair Force 3 240GB averaged 48.3% lower than the peak scores attained by the group leaders. This isn't a great result which indicates that there are much faster alternatives on the comparison list.

The drive is excellant compared to todays drives. this test is clearly by samsung optimist.

I'd like to let you know that the UserBenchmark software heavily underrates this SSD, as doing those (way to quick) tests results in sequential reads/writes of around 200 MB/s while testing with ATTO benchmark, this drive clearly scores always above 500 MB/s (read and write) speeds).
