For the money and difference in price of my next selection, the 860 EVO, The 970 is so vastly superior and thus a far better value for the dollar, IMO. It is definitely not a "budget build" item though, so for me, it is something of a splurge, but one I can count on to handle anything I give it. The WD version is very close and even better in a few areas and only just a few bucks less.

Works perfect, got it on a nice discount for less than 150 and can store plenty of games on it

This is fast. Like, really fast. These are some unbelievable speeds... I usually go turn on my computer first, and then turn on my monitor. Without fail, right when the monitor turns on, I am greeted with the windows startup screen. This consistently is able to startup within about 10-20 seconds, without fail. I have basically no issues with it right now.

Works great in my PC built to serve me in both work and games. Everything on it loads fast.
