Average Bench: 275% (50th of 1080)

Based on 495,311 user benchmarks.  Model: Samsung SSD 970 EVO Plus 500GB

The 970 Evo Plus offers excellent sustained write performance both in and out of cache. This results in consistent performance even when the drive is nearly full. Samsung also have a great track record for reliability, this drive will likely last a lifetime. The larger capacity drives (1TB+) offer even better write performance and may be more appropriate for some users. We use this drive (and its larger siblings) extensively in our EFps Lab at UserBenchmark. [Feb '20 SSDrivePro]

On a laptop it requires you to be plugged in or runs really slow. Also, has major heat issues resulting in the need for always using a cooling pad.

This SSD features incredibly high speeds similar to the 970 Pro at a much lower cost. This is a great option for those looking for a high-performance SSD while not breaking the bank on something like a 970 Pro.

A great SSD, not the cheapest, but is one of the fastest consumer SSD's around for a reasonable price. In my personal build, I got up to 3,200 mb/s read AND write speeds.

A very good M.2 drive in terms of price/performance; insanely fast and doesn't cost much more than a 2.5" SSD.

Amazingly fast for the price (€ 85), very much in line with other SSDs. Excellent Samsung companion software and tests confirm theoretical performance. Totally recommendable

Why does UserBenchmark have a bad reputation on reddit?
Marketers operate thousands of reddit accounts. Our benchmarks expose their spiel so they attack our reputation.
